Help with stupid bugged quest - Guild Wars Forums

My Necro/Ranger is trying to do "the king's message" no matter how many people I take with me in the group, with or without Alesia, with or without my pet, the ambassador says I'm alone. Now I see where people have said you just go back to Ascalon and come back out and it's fixed, but mine's not... I've gone to ascalon and back, the sanitarium and back... all over the friggin place and back and apparently the ambassador is blind and doesn't see the 3 people and the giant cat behind me.... How do I fix this?

When you add Alesia in Ascalon City, the quest log should be updated. Was it updated? If the quest log is not updated, the Ambassador won't accept you. Try kicking her and add again. Simply entering a town(not warpped) won't kick her out of the party.

do you still have the quest item?

have you tried to abandon the quest and retake it?

I had this problem as well, I just had to leave the party then rejoin another one, which seemed to resolve the issue.
